Full service for all glass packaging: Euroglas takes care of the complete production, finishing, warehousing, financing and planning of all coated glass articles at Dr. Johanna Budwig. Just-in-time deliveries at optimal costs are possible thanks to forward-looking planning, optimized warehousing, short distances and close communication between all parties involved. The high-quality coating from one of our closest partners in the field of decorations in combination with the elegant labels and packaging from DJB not only looks uniquely high-quality. The additional UV protection also contributes to the longer shelf life and quality of Budwig oils

HISTORY WITH EUROGLASS

The collaboration between Euroglas and Dr. Johanna Budwig GmbH dates back to 2012 and can be described as a prime example of long-standing, deeply rooted partnerships at eye level. What initially began with small quantities of jars, the business relationship developed into a strong bond with various levels of innovation. Quality, reliability, partnership, but also value for money and further development have played an important role for both companies from the very beginning. We only started supplying the first coated oil bottles in 2016 and were able to score points with our strong full-service package. Various hurdles have been overcome over the years and the quality, performance and portfolio have been continuously expanded.

We reached the highest evolutionary stage of cooperation (as of today) in 2023 with the introduction of our Ecolution range of bottles at DJB. With our glass bottles, which are 20-40% lighter and produced in Germany within a short distance of all those involved, we were able to contribute a high level of added value, not only in terms of environmental compatibility and cost-effectiveness. The handling for the consumer has also been significantly improved thanks to the optimized “Ecolution closures and muzzles”.

About Dr. johanna budwig

As a licensed pharmacist, natural scientist and alternative practitioner, Dr. Johanna Budwig has spent decades researching the influence of fats on health. With paper chromatography, she developed a process to distinguish saturated from unsaturated fatty acids for the first time. Early on, she described the positive influence of unsaturated fatty acids - especially from linseed - on human health. Dr. Johanna Budwig GmbH was founded in Oldenburg in 2007 by Hans-Gerd Harbers and Helmut Jordan in order to further develop the valuable intellectual legacy of Dr. Johanna Budwig. The company's approximately 50 employees process, refine and distribute the products, which are produced on the basis of the Budwig principle according to the original Budwig quality process and partly according to traditional recipes.
