OF FIRS AND GRANDMOTHERS
A fir tree is like a grandma. It gives life, is sturdy and has an unmistakable smell of its own. Not for nothing do we each get two of them. With all the stress this year, how we would have loved to sit on grandma’s lap, polish off Christmas biscuits and drink a spicy, hot punch. How nice the thought is to be able to rely on something. Like grandma’s. Or firs.
WHAT THE FIR?
Do you still have your grandma? That’s possible. But do you also have a fir tree? Well, now you do. Our gift to you: the seed for a silver fir, beautifully packaged in crystal-clear glass and with everything a little tree needs to live. All that’s missing is a little water and attention, and then you can watch the little one grow – just like grandma once watched you.

But such a lonely little tree naturally also longs for company. Someone big it can look up to. That’s exactly why we have planted 300 silver firs close to us in the Hochwießwald forest near Marktoberdorf, one of them just for you. And if you come to visit us next year, you could of course drop by and give your tree a good hug (but let’s be honest: grandma could probably stand that better).
